BALSAM BASHING!
23 June
On the 23rd of June, we will be working with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust to remove Himalayan Balsam (an invasive and destructive non-native plant) from the riverbanks in Little Somerford.
It looks quite pretty when you see it but it damages the riverbank making it more susceptible to erosion.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the BALSAM BASHING to improve the river in Little Somerford. If you would like to help (it’s good fun and very satisfying)
